Skirmishes are short 5-man instances generally occuring outside and taking about 15 minutes to complete. They usually only reward some coins, and the occoasional boss loot, however if ran during the Skirmish event or for the Daily Skirmish quest, they can also reward [Rough Astral Diamond]s.
