The Challenge of the Gods is a randomly reoccurring calendar event.

Heroes of Neverwinter, the gods have taken notice of your deeds, and have prepared a challenge to test your mettle.

Sword Coast Adventures
While the Challenge of the Gods is running all dungeon bosses in the Sword Coast Adventures have a chance of dropping a [Gift of the Gods]. Play on Gateway from your web or mobile browser.

Should you succeed a Challenge of the Gods you will be rewarded with a [Gift of the Gods], containing one of the following rewards:

[Celestial Grace Dye Pack]

[Divine Injury Kit]

Enchants that are appropriate to your level

Runes that are appropriate to your level

Potions that are appropriate to your level

Once per day, you will be able to complete a quest to undertake challenges that rewards you with a [Blessed Gift of the Gods] which also contains 1-3 [Coin of Waukeen] and one of the following divine rewards:

↑ Amaunator has two challenges. The challenge to donate to your Stronghold's Coffer only appears on the Stronghold map.
↑ For the first and second run of Challenge of the Gods Chauntea's challenge was to use 10 healing potions.
↑ The Challenge of Moradin was only available during the first run of the event, and is no longer offered.
↑ For the first and second run of Challenge of the Gods Selûne's challenge was to defeat 5 tough enemies.
↑ Formerly Encounter powers had to be used specifically in combat, now they also count out of combat.

Amaunator

Amaunator, the light of law, challenges you to donate items to your Stronghold's coffers that he may see the contract between guild and guild member honored.

Donate to your Strongholds coffers.
You will have 3 minutes to complete this challenge.

Amaunator

Amaunator, keeper of the eternal sun, challenges you to slay 5 enemies using only your powers that rise and set like the sun itself.

Kill 5 enemies without using any At-Will powers.
Using any At-will powers will fail this challenge.
You will have 3 minutes to complete this challenge.

Chauntea

Chauntea, the Great Mother, wants you to enjoy the earth's bounty by gathering materials from 3 skill nodes.

Use 3 Skill Nodes.
You have 10 minutes to complete this challenge.

Corellon

Corellon, the Protector, wishes to test your grace under pressure. Survive 30 seconds of combat while under half health in order to succeed his challenge.

Survive 30 seconds of combat while under half health.
You will have 3 minutes to complete this challenge.
If you heal to over 50% of your health or you leave combat once under 50% health, you will fail this challenge.

Kelemvor

Kelemvor, the Lord of the Dead, challenges you to slay 5 foes while on the edge of death yourself.

Kill 5 Enemies while you are under half health.
Only enemies killed while you are at less than half health will count for this challenge.
You will have 3 minutes to complete this challenge.

Moradin

Moradin, the Soul Forger, challenges you to prove your diligence by completing crafting tasks. Any crafting task will suffice for this challenge.

Complete 3 Crafting Tasks.
You will have 20 Minutes to complete this challenge.

Oghma

Oghma, the Lord of Knowledge challenges you to prove your wisdom and wit by demonstrating your most powerful techniques.

Use Daily powers 3 times.
You will have 5 minutes to complete this challenge.

Selûne

Selûne, the Moonmaiden, challenges you to complete 1 Heroic Encounter in order to weaken the forces of evil and her sister, Shar.

Complete an Heroic Encounter.
Heroic Encounters can be found on most maps. Look for the distinctive Heroic Encounter icons on your minimap to find the nearest one. They come in various levels of difficulty. Any Heroic Encounter counts for this challenge.
You will have 10 minutes to complete this challenge.

Silvanus

Silvanus, the Forest Father, challenges you to act with the swiftness of a predator and the patience of a mighty oak by slaying foes using only your At-Will and Daily Powers.

Kill 10 enemies without using any encounter powers.
Using any encounter powers will fail this challenge.
You will have 3 minutes to complete this challenge.

Sune

Sune, the Lady Firehair, wants to see you show off your skills. Use your encounter powers 10 times to satisfy her challenge.

You will have 3 minutes to complete this challenge.

Tempus

Tempus, the Lord of Battles, challenges you to defeat 10 foes in honorable combat without using your full might.

Slay 10 foes without using your Daily powers.
Using any Daily powers will fail this challenge.
You will have 3 minutes to complete this challenge.

Torm

Torm, the Loyal Fury, challenges you to smite the unrighteous by slaying your foes in rapid succession.

Kill 5 enemies within 1 minute of each other.
After you slay the next foe, you must slay 4 more enemies within 1 minute of the first kill to succeed this challenge.
You will have 3 minutes to complete this challenge.

Tymora

Tymora, Lady of Luck, challenges you to prove your wit and tenacity as an adventurer by slaying 10 foes without using any healing potions.

Kill 10 Enemies without using any healing potions.
Using any healing potions will fail this challenge.
You will have 3 minutes to complete this challenge.

For now, players will still have to open the journal while in instanced maps to check the goal of a Challenge. The merchant associated with the Coins of Waukeen event now spawns in the Moonstone Mask during the Challenge of the Gods event as well, as the Blessed Gift of the Gods contains Coins of Waukeen. Please note that there is not a "last chance" period for Challenge of the Gods, so unspent coins will not be usable until the next run of either Challenge of the Gods or Coins of Waukeen. Various tooltips have been updated to properly remove mentions of Enchantments.
