Cryomancers are Black Ice Shaping Assets that can be acquired as necessary components for completion of Black Ice Shaping tasks from Forgotten Profession Level 3, and/or as optional components in tasks that will reduce the completion time for their rewards.

Cryomancers of quality above Common can only originate from [Professions Booster Pack] and asset packs, but they may be traded or bought/sold on the Tarmalune Auction House.

An [Assistant Cryomancer] can be acquired from a task at Forgotten Profession Level 2. The task requires one [Black Ice Smith], which is consumed in completing the task. Cryomancers of higher tiers may be acquired from [Professions Booster Pack] purchased in the Zen Market. Cryomancers are not bound and may be bought and sold on the Tarmalune Auction House or traded.

A task requiring a Cryomancer as an asset will take any tier of Cryomancer in its slot. Higher tiered Cryomancers serve only reduce the production time for the task. A Cryomancer may also be used in place of a [Chillwright] or a [Black Ice Smith] for tasks that call for them.

At Profession Level 2, a [Black Ice Smith] can be upgraded to produce an [Assistant Cryomancer].
At Profession Level 2, a [Cryomancer] can be upgraded to produce a [Master Cryomancer].
At Profession Level 3, a [Master Cryomancer] can be upgraded to produce a [Grandmaster Cryomancer].
There is no task that will allow an [Assistant Cryomancer] to become a [Cryomancer].
