Demonic Closure is a Demonic Heroic Encounter that can appear in Stronghold, Dread Ring, Icewind Pass, Dwarven Valley, or Well of Dragons. The difficulty and rewards scale with number of participants. 1 or 2 players is Bronze, 3 to 5 players is silver, and 6+ players is gold. If 9 or more players participate, a Demonic Overload Heroic Encounter will spawn after completion of the Demonic Closure Heroic Encounter.

A Harper Wizard is trying to close a large abyssal tear.

Encounter[]
To complete this encounter the Harper Wizard that is channeling in the center of the area must be protected. As long as the wizard is channeling, a progress bar will slowly fill. The encounter is completed when the progress bar is full. If the Harper Wizard is hit it will be knocked down and stop channeling for a few seconds. Most mobs will stop to attack players attacking them, but periodically an Enraged Barlgura will spawn that will attack the Harper Wizard until killed.
