It is used to check the cooldown on receiving [Cache of the Elements] and [Cache of the Protector]. This can be done by examining the guide's tooltip, and does not require purchasing the guide.

Cache of the Elements will be awarded as a bonus once per day for completing either Malabog's Castle, Valindra's Tower or Epic Lair of Lostmauth.

Cache of the Protector will be awarded as a bonus once per day for completing either Epic Cragmire's Crypt, Epic Gray Wolf Den or Epic Temple of the Spider.

After receiving a bonus you will become eligible for that bonus again after 18 hours have passed. You may always refer to this guide to verify whether or not you are eligible. This guide may be re-purchased at any time via the Wondrous Bazaar.
