The Great Hall is the building at the heart of your Guild's Stronghold. Located inside the Stronghold Keep, the Great hall is a large meeting area that your guild can customize and decorate as you choose.
Inside the Great Hall is four large tables surrounded by chairs, an imposing fireplace, and two flights of stairs leading to a gallery above. To the right of the main doors is The Decorator, where you can donate decorations.
After being donated to the Decorator, decorations can be placed at various locations in the Great Hall. There are locations for 4 Chandeliers, 5 Runners, 4 Tables (each table can have a feast on it), 40 Chairs, 1 Fireplace, 15 Furniture, 4 Ornaments, 8 Banners, 9 Rugs, and 6 Statues.
The Decorator[]
The Decorator, located to the right of the main doors, is your contact in the Great Hall where you can donate and place decorations.
Well met, Adventurer! I am the Decorator; the Steward told me you might visit! My job is to help you manage this beautiful new space in your guild hall. If you spruce things up a little and add some furniture, your guild will be the envy of the Sword Coast or, dare I say it, Faerûn itself! If you need help with anything, my refined manners and impeccable taste are at your disposal.
When you wish to donate items to the warehouse, come and talk to me. The guild's warehouse is an inventory of all the items your guild has collected. These items belong to the guild and are used to decorate this magestic room. Whenever you place an item from the guild warehouse in the Great Hall, anything that was previously placed is returned to the warehouse.
There are many sources for items you can use to decorate your Great Hall, but most come from Masterwork Professions. If you are sufficiently advanced in the professions, you can make a multitude of items for the Great Hall. You will find a number of temporary plots at the Millabout just behind the stronghold. These plots are used by traders who carry the supplies you need for Masterwork profession tasks, making it easier to gather the materials necessary to build the furniture you want. While you work on mastering your craft, you can also purchase some furniture from the Wondrous Bazaar, The Stronghold General Store, and from the Mysterious Merchant at the Millabout, as well as earning them in some forthcoming events.
To decorate this space, you need to have the permission of your guild. If you do, you may consult with me and we will get started refining this grand interior space.
