Objective[]
- Complete Mailsmithing Tasks for The Artisan.
Once training begins you may not begin training another profession until it is complete. Training can be time consuming and expensive, do not begin training unless you are certain of your choice.
Summary[]
First I need to see the starting line, bring me five hundred [Adamantine Rings and Scales].
What, I said this was going to be time consuming didn't I? Consistency is paramount, bring the materials and we'll go from there.
Steps[]
- Deliver Rings and Scales to the Artisan
- Obtain [Adamantine Rings and Scales] (500)
- Deliver Armor to the Artisan
- Obtain [Gemmed Elemental Scale Armor]
- Obtain [Soldier's Gemmed Elemental Chainmail]
- Obtain [Soldier's Gemmed Elemental Chausses]
Dialogue[]
After turning in first materials:
Ah yes, not bad, Adventurer, the scales are well cut and the chains are rather sturdy. I can see you've earned your reputation. Don't get your head in the clouds though, you've still got a long way to go.
Regardless, this should cover The Steward's orders for the next few months. What, you didn't think I'd get nothing out of this for myself, did you?
For your next task, I want you to pour your heart into a finished product, three finished products to be precise. Bring me [Gemmed Elemental Scale Armor], [Soldier's Gemmed Elemental Chainmail], and some [Soldier's Gemmed Elemental Chausses].
We'll talk again when you have those items.
Completion[]
An excellent set of mail for a few years at least, but if it sees a lot of combat, the chains might suffer.
Some metals need to be alloyed quite differently before being pulled into wire and hammered into chains. The right tool for the right job doesn't hurt either.
You've earned this Mailler's Lathe, it's served me for many years. Now let's see what your maillers can do with it.
