Mailsmithing is a profession where Prospectors and other Mailsmiths are managed to perform various tasks. The focus of this profession is on the creation of medium metal armors for the Devoted Cleric and the Great Weapon Fighter.

Tasks[ | ]

Common tasks are those available at all times to a Mailsmith of sufficient level. Rare tasks are available periodically. When a player first accesses the professions dialog after having been away for more than an hour, a limited selection of rare tasks are made available by the system, remaining available for our hour. At the end of the hour, if the player is still logged in, the system generates a new set of rare tasks to be available for one hour. Masterwork tasks are always available, but must be unlocked with [Masterwork Mailsmithing Recipes I], [Masterwork Mailsmithing Recipes II] and [Masterwork Mailsmithing Recipes III]. These are obtained by completing quests from The Artisan at your Guild Stronghold.

Where a task requires a Person, a higher ranked Person may be used instead of the Asset called for in the task recipe (e.g. an [Assistant Mailsmith] can be used instead of a [Prospector] or a [Blacksmith] when one of the lower tiered persons is required).
