Neverwinter Wiki

First NEVER EVER COLLECT ANYTHING DURING FIGHTING, as the wolves are quite deadly and obscured vision or time used to answer the need/greed question at wrong moment means death in this skirmish. Also when you are running it against time during a skirmish event, don't be a garbage collector. Those green weapon and armor pieces that give about one silver aren't worth the lost time spent collecting them and especially the others spending time answering the need/greed question.

Also never intentionally hurt anyone else's DPS, as time is a key here and as much as it is nice to be the top slayer and paingiver, that doesn't mean anything in the long run. Also don't use Ice Storm or similar abilities that throw the enemies around the whole place, as they are much faster killed when grouped in one mass when everyone can hit multiple targets with every blow and especially as the Magi can use their group damaging spells to their full effect.

First take always out any Redcap Witherers or Poweries you see, as they are weak but if left unchecked, they can be really pain in the buts by healing full the main enemies when they are just about to die or draining your Mage of AP at critical moment.

After the Redcaps, Fighters should always concentrate the main enemies (the big guys), except when you see Mage or someone else running around wolves at their heels. Those wolves are deadly and unless you help the runner, he will probably be soon dead, which will hurt the group DPS and thus slow down the completion. Magi should concentrate on the smaller enemies with their group targeting spells. Clerics should try to keep everyone alive and the rest should help where they can best.

On first wave, Magi should awaken the wolves and get them grouped with singularity and steal time for everyone to cherry pick. Then the redcaps should be taken care fast and only after that the big guys. On the second area, Magi should again concentrate to getting the smaller guys on one place with singularity and controlling/killing them when fighters take care of the big guys.

When the witches come, best strategy is to awaken all three groups with single hit on each groups single member and then cast singularity and bash the adds with everything you got. If the witches become too annoying, retreat towards the beginning, so they all can't target you at one and you can better concentrate taking care of the adds. After the adds are gone, just kill the witches one by one. After the witches are gone, there will be four wolves in two groups, again awaken the second group too and use singularity to get them to one place for everyone to bash them fast.

Next comes two waves of two wolves and one wave of four wolves. They are quite straight forward, but try to meet them as fast as you can so you can move forward towards the end of the alley during the fighting and meet the last four wolves at the end for minimal walking to the boss after the wolves are done. Group the four last wolves again with singularity for fast kills and bash them with all you have.

Next comes the Master of the Hunt. Here you really need to take care of the Redcaps ASAP or they will again heal the wolves or the Master, or drain people of their AP, which is especially annoying in here. Also the wolves must be killed ASAP or they will kill your Mage or some other weaker member of the team and make the fight last longer. This fight isn't too bad if you won't get four wolves after you. Just remember to dodge when you are in the red rings, as they are quite deadly [OHK some times] and also dodge when the Master is about to run, as it will knock you on the ground and thus slow you down.

And so you are again 1k raw AD richer and hopefully also got one barkshield shard.
