Quest within/start in/ suggestion[]

I suggest we create a separate category for Quests within zones, instead of listing where they begin/end within the page of the zone itself, thus making pages less wordy and more sleek looking.

Consistent Capitalization[]

While the Wiki is still in its nascent stages I think it is important to establish page standards. Currently some pages and categories have their second word capitalized and some do not. I propose that all pages conform to title structure. For instance, a page titled gold coins would be placed on the wiki as "Gold Coins" and not "Gold coins". A page entitled for love of money would be entered into the wiki as "For Love of Money" not "For Love Of Money" or "for love of money" I will do my best to correct pages and create redirects so that all pages meet this standard if it is agreeable to others. Due to the case sensitivity rules of titles, there is a standard I was trying to follow:
  • If the term is fully capitalized in-game, do the same for the title since we're likely to do the same in links.
    • In other words, always match in-game capitalization where you can.
  • When the terms aren't used in-game, follow widespread wiki conventions and only capitalize the first world and proper nouns.
I know this will result in inconsistency, but the standard is intended to keep linking simple. We generally wouldn't be writing "gold coins" as "Gold Coins". It's much easier to type [[gold coins]] in the middle of the sentence than [[Gold Coins|gold coins]].
On the other hand, in-game text is so frequently fully capitalizing things like the names of foes that if we followed typical wiki convention there, we'd end up typing [[Undead soldier|Undead Soldier]] all the time rather than being able to type [[Undead Soldier]].
Establishing redirects, like "Gold coins" -> "Gold Coins" helps with this, but it is a time-consuming process for so many pages, and I think we have to accept that there will always be gaps.
And realistically, the same standard should be followed for headings in pages too, since those can also be linked to. oOeyes User-OOeyes-Sig.png 01:06, 23 April 2013 (UTC)
Oh, and to add to this, for the same reasons, singular forms should be favored in titles. Easier to write [[class]] and [[Class]]es than it is to write [[Classes|class]] and [[Classes]]. The exceptions are when you're never likely to use the singular form. I do agree that if we are referencing in game terms of any sort they should follow full capitalization. For instance, Adventure Zone not Adventure zone, Dungeon Delve not Dungeon delve, etc. Gold coins is perhaps a bad example to illustrate this as Gold coins are not specifically referenced in the game, instead they are referred to as Gold and the overall system of Gold, Silver, and Copper is referred to as "Money."

However, I believe that since the majority of the Wiki will be comprised of in game terms, NPCs, items, and locations, all of which are specified in the game and use title capitalization, I don't think it would be a problem to use this type of structure throughout as the vast majority of pages on the Wiki would already conform to this standard, so the situations where it doesn't apply will be few and far between and would appear to the normal reader as incorrect since every other page would seem to be following a different standard. Foundry Section Redundant Pages[]

It seems that the Foundry quick start page isn't quite needed, as most of the (possible) information that would go there is already on the Foundry and Guide to the Foundry pages. Vulasuw (talk) 00:36, 23 April 2013 (UTC)

Handling user-generated content[]

I think we need to get this conversation started quickly since we're now a few days away from early access to the open beta, and this was somewhat controversial back on STOWiki as well. Let's discuss how we want to handle pages for Foundry content on Project talk:User generated content.

Category Structure[]

Another topic that I think needs a decision fairly quickly is category structure, since there will be a lot of pages added to the Wiki in short order I think we need to have an infrastructure in place for category navigation. Lets talk about it at Project talk:Categorization.

Non-English NW Wikis[]

I would like to start working on the German version of this wiki, as the game is translated into German, too. I will start by doing sub-pages with a language suffix, in accordance of what I've heard from Curse:

Our standard practice is to let users make translation on subpages initially. (Example: A French translation for "Signs of Life" would be at "Signs of Life/fr".) Once they have enough of a skeleton fleshed out, we open a new wiki for the language with it's own dedicated domain and transfer the content to it. An example of it is and

I've also made a template to be placed on those pages, {{Translated}}, that explains the process a bit and puts the sub-page into the new category Non-English Pages to easily identify when needed.

Note: Any help from other non-English people would be greatly appreciated. Please do not use the translated page title yet, using the sub-pages for now (with /de and /fr) ensures that they can be easily integrated into the new wiki and will immediately include the inter-wiki link to the English page, as it is always clear what page they are a translation of. The template can also be enhanced with more language suffixes if there are plans to have the wiki in more additional languages.

Checked further and the filter is already set up to ignore other-language pages, but they need to be created with the correct titles, i.e. Neverwinter Wiki/zh, not Zh:Neverwinter WIki. I was wondering, is there a rough number of pages or areas of the game covered that would need to exist in a certain language before it can be set up on its own sub-domain? If there would be an outlined target, we might be able to speed up the process a little bit by directing effort to those pages still needed to get the foreign wiki started. At the moment, non-english content on this wiki is almost invisible, which to potential editors of those languages may give the impression that the wiki is only in English. Plus, searching for that content is also a bit tricky, as the page name does not resemble the official in-game name of those items in other languages in most cases. I know that this could be solved by a redirect with the non-English title as a page name (typing in the non-English term would suggest the sub-page), but I fear this may create a mess when the pages would eventually be moved to their own domain. To make non-English versions of pages more visible on the English page, I am using simple vice versa linking for now, as in Bag of Holes and Bag of Holes/de, respectively. I'm quite a n00b at wiki language, so no idea if there's a better solution, like a template that would check on /de /fr /zh (and so on) sub pages and link them if they exist... Anyway, let me know what content you think we should have covered to get wikis started for those languages the game has been translated into. ;) FridiEU (talk) 22:55, 15 May 2013 (UTC)
A rough guideline is to translate the Main Page and all pages directly linked from that as an absolute minimum. Also, getting at least one of each various "type" of page that has a structured layout, like at least one quest page, one NPC page, one foe page, etc, translated is a big plus since that gives editors something to follow. oOeyes User-OOeyes-Sig.png 16:04, 16 May 2013 (UTC)

I'll set up interwiki prefixes, yes, but I'm not aware of any way to make "automatic" links aside from some template you can add to the pages.
We'll be starting the process of getting the German wiki up and running tomorrow. I just checked out the new French Wiki, but I don't see any French content at all. Is it going to be exported later? I noticed not a lot of pages were actually put in the Translations/fr category, but even those that were there when the new wiki was set up, I could not find. We were asked to launch the French wiki early. I was told the French community was resistant to making translations here on the English wiki, so I didn't think there was anything to transfer. I've transferred the pages in Translations/fr now. If you want me to transfer more, you can categorize additional pages and let me know when to transfer the rest, or editors can transfer the pages themselves. Request: Stats Explanation[]

Hi, I love your Wiki.

I'd just like to make a small request, if possible, could you create a page that explains what all the different stats on gear do? Things like Power, Recovery, Deflection and so forth.

I agree, and it's been a crazy week for me, so this isn't something I've been to sort out myself. I'm going to try and write out a detailed explaination of my findings. I have noticed that the +Movement on gear (let's say, +120 from an enchantment), says it only gives +1.3% (IIRC). I don't believe that... I think there's some sort of miscalculation there... I have a 60 TR and I run faster than my basic mount (which is +50% movement). When running fast, I use Sneak Attack Rank 3 (+30% movement) and Skillful Infiltrator Rank 3 (+15% movement) on my basement which depending on how the calculate it in game, I'm just assuming it's cumulative - that's +45% movement. The only different would be if, instead of...
All +Movement Combined (30% + 15% + 1.3%) it's instead something like...
(Class Features)*(Gear) = (30% + 15% = +45%) * (1.3%) = 58.5%

Better skill descriptions.[]


So I was trying to find info about my class, and the wiki is missing quite a bit of info. I wouldn't mind editing/fixing up a few pages, but I also have no idea how templates work. I was thinking of something similar to: this for skills. Not sure if other pages on the wikia I linked could be good for inspiration since this game has much more skills involved.

If I was given a template/told how to set the page up, I would definitely try to get the info from the tool tips into an appropriate page. It's been awhile and I'm not sure if it's something that needs to be set up, or has the potential to just copy paste.

<also...wouldn't mind a rename token so I can change name to my game handle and not curse account.>

Okay, I've set up a basic layout on pages like Magic Missile and Chill Strike. You can copy-paste those and use those to set up other power pages. The tooltip information is on separate pages to support the wiki's tooltip system, you can use the "edit details above" on a power page that has a tooltip to get appropriate code for setting those up. When you save a power page with the {{tooltip section power}} template included, you'll get a red link to the appropriate page for the tooltip info.

I have started working on the Cleric page. While doing so I wanted to link straight to the "#Encounter_powers" of each class, then saw how different the class pages have been set up. I will try to make the pages more uniform so linking straight to the pages specific part is easier for users. Let me know if there is anything wrong with the Cleric page so far, I will try to fix up anything that might have broken. I will update the pages as I have time.

Yeah, I see they've become inconsistent. I still favor placing all the powers into a single sortable table for maximum flexibility and functionality and eliminating any redundant listing on those pages. This is the approach used by the Guardian Fighter page. Then you'd just link to "#Powers" instead.

Your contest mentions the dire need for the images on the front page, yet i see no way of adding these. I have been activly going through alot of pages adding tons of missing information and making sure the formating + icons are 1080p consistant over each page.

In truth I entered only for the contest but now find a deep love of knowing people will hopefully find my information helpful in the future. My worry however is the lack of control with images meaning I have to go thorugh every page I am aware the icon excists to make sure they all use the same image.

The front page is something I am more than happy to attempt creating images for. This however leads to another confusion over the contest. How are the icons/images tracked? Are we ment to link every single change + image over twitter? Seems a rather endless chain of events to make sure you submissions are verified before someone else comes and does a 2 word edit to claim it :(

I'd just make one tweet for an helpful edit and one for an image. The winners will be randomly selected among those that make a helpful contribution that isn't something really minor (i.e., someone fixing a few typos or adding a sentence). Any further editing you make after that would be because you've found you enjoy it; it won't affect your chances of winning.
Basically, during our discussions of the contest, we felt that trying to compare the value of each editor's contributions was a bad idea. That can only be objectively determined up to a certain point, and then beyond that it becomes rather arbitrary. For example, I have a tendency to value good text content over images, so I'd tend to choose editors who best expanded our information on the game, but dealing with images is less convenient and less streamlined, so an editor uploading a lot of quality images is doing a lot of valuable work too. Choosing one dedicated editor to win over another would be just as likely to cause strife as it would be to inspire editing, so this contest is more about giving both our existing editors a chance to win and encouraging new editors to try wiki editing out and see how they like it (in exchange for also getting a chance to win). oOeyes User-OOeyes-Sig.png 19:21, 17 May 2013 (UTC)
Correction: Each entry does increase your chance to win, as long as multiple entries are sufficiently different from each other, i.e. different subject or page, which we'll determine at the judging stage. We'll just count a lot of edits that are just building up the same thing as one entry, even if you tweet each one. I've been working on Lore, a page that tells players where do find pieces of lore in-game. It's far from complete, but already the 20th biggest page on the wiki. Any chance it could be added to the front page, or anywhere really? It's an orphan at the moment.

Enchantment Slot Tooltip Template?[]

Can anyone tell me how to show an empty grey & purple enchantment slot in a tooltip box? I know class="slot" gives a filled grey slot. I can't seem to find/figure out how to get an empty one, either grey or purple (for the armor enhancements). Snoman321 (talk) 06:59, 1 June 2013 (UTC)

OK I uploaded NW_Empty_Slot.png and NW_Empty_AE_Slot.png for both those. Ready for your Magic. Lemee know how to properly fix those into a tooltip, and I'll clean up the Leatherworking ones I've done already. If I could offer a suggestion it would be to make class="slot" be the empty slot image by default since that's how items drop, and would thus be more commonly used in tooltips. Maybe class="slotted" for a full slot and class="aeslot"[1] for an empty armor enhancement slot? I didn't find an icon for a full AE slot. Not sure if it would even be used?   • class="aeslotted"[1] now displays a full armor enhancement slot.
  • I also added class="runeslot" and class="runeslotted" for future-proofing. For now, they do the same thing as slot and slotted, but should the devs decide to make the rune slots look different, using the rune classes will make switching over pretty easy. oOeyes User-OOeyes-Sig.png 20:49, 2 June 2013 (UTC)

I didn't notice until after you did this, but aeslot/aeslotted[1] needs the pink text as well, and runeslot/runeslotted should have the pink icon. NPC Vendors[]

I was upgrading some images and came across Milosh the Impartial page where someone made a fantastic table for the items the vendor offered with prices. What I mean is instead of linking to the image "File:Potion of Weak Healing.png", you would do something like {{Item|Image|Potion of Weak Healing}}, yeah. oOeyes would it be possible to add a subpage that is a template? meaning Potion of Weak Healing/Template:Potion of Weak Healing which would create {{Potion of Weak Healing}} which could add in an Image tag for it? Meh, maybe that's redundant..

Pirates' vs. Pirate's Skyhold[]

The game isn't perfectly consistent about spelling. On the game map, and in the lore pages, and in the zoning hints, and other spots, it's Pirates' plural. In some of the achievements, it's Pirate's singular. A while back, I converted most references to plural, having assumed that plural was the intent. However, my changes are being reverted. Undo wars would be tiresome. A decision on consistent spelling would be nice. 22:47, 7 June 2013 (UTC)

Icon best practices[]

I'm new to this wiki, but thoroughly familiar with icon acquisition and editing for another game wiki. I'd like to get some recommendations for the size and format for icons (and other images), and advice for the best techniques for acquiring, formatting, and naming icons.

Looking around here, I see that some icons appear to be 64x64 png files with black or transparent backgrounds, e.g. Footman.jpg, Hvyarmor Resource Ironplate 01.png. Others are odd sizes that often include a border, with a black, rather than transparent, background, e.g. NW Iron Awl.png, Bag of Bones Icon.jpg.

Some of these look like they may have been acquired from the Gateway web site, from game or resource files, while others are more obviously clipped from screen shots. As is typical of games, the same icon is often use for many items.

  • What is the best way to set up to capture icons?
  • Are there video settings that work better for capturing high quality icons?
  • Are there naming conventions for icons?
  • Do templates assume icon names can be calculated from items names by default?
  • How can one avoid creating duplicate icons for items that use a common icon in-game?

I would welcome advice from the more experienced editors. Please share your suggestions, recipes, best practices, etc. In the end, It may be useful to collect this information on the Help:Contents or a related page.

I have uploaded both types in the past. Before the gateway went live, the only way for me to get images was screenshots from the game. For those, I always included the colored frame, as it neatly indicates the quality of the item. At the moment I usually prefer getting a png file from the gateway, as those files are of a much better resolution and will look better when scaled. Icons taken from the gateway don't have those frames, though. For items of different quality that use the exact same icon, it would definitely be nice to have a colored frame. Maybe we could have a template that would draw a frame around an icon in white, green, blue etc., to indicate the color? FridiEU (talk) 00:07, 26 June 2013 (UTC)
So the latest update to the Gateway has made it easier to extract the icon images of non-equipable/non-sellable items. In Chrome for instance, go to the Gateway "Inventory" option for the character with the object, right click on the icon you need and choose "Inspect Element", then in the source that appears you can find the nearby img src of the icon and right click on that to open that in a new tab, and finally use that new tab to save image. Do icons copied from the Gateway count as "screenshots" or "official images" for licensing? Both are fair use, so I suppose it doesn't really matter. Also, would a list of all available icons be useful? Many things were broken by this. It didn't work correctly with the tooltip script, as the script is designed to work with {{Tooltip hover box}} while the tooltips on the pages work with the other templates. You designed it so the script couldn't call up the correct template, and I guess you tried to fix it by adding a lot of <div class="small">. I have this fixed now.
Next time you're going to make drastic, experimental, and challenging changes to heavily used templates, copy them to your userspace first and test, test, test'them there, please. And if you're having trouble, ask for help. I appreciate the overall improvements you've made by adding {{t|ItemTransformer}}[2] and I don't mean to be completely critical, but there's a lot to clean up because you charged ahead with an faulty implementation. Multiplying Tootltips[]

Why do my tooltips all want to have baby Tooltips (as in [[Leather Boots +1]][3])? How can I get rid of the extra "edit Tooltip," the one that would just make a new Tooltip for existing the Tooltip, as opposed to ACTUALLY editing the existing Tooltip?

Looks like there was a lot of damage inflicted on various templates during {{t|ItemTransformer}}'s[2] implementation. I'm working on trying to get all the new templates working with the old and working with the tooltip script correctly. I think I'm most of the way there.
I also didn't really think that integrating these "same name, different items" situations into a single page was a good idea, so {{Tooltip section}} wasn't intended for it. I've created {{t|Tooltip and infobox section}}[4] to deal with this now, but I still think a disambiguation page and individual pages for each item is a better approach in the long run. For example, if the community wanted to try to add Semantic MediaWiki, multiple items per page is something we'd end up reversing because it's an extraordinary pain to support that with SMW. oOeyes User-OOeyes-Sig.png 05:21, 8 July 2013 (UTC)

Usage of ItemTransformer[]

I designed the tooltip script to use separate pages for tooltips for a reason. With many pages containing a lot of links that might need a tooltip loaded, having the tooltips on separate pages was to ensure the wiki only had to load the actual tooltip text, not entire item pages just to ignore most of it.

The item pages that have {{t|ItemTransformer}}[2] on them need to have that moved from the item page to the tooltip page, and the style= line needs to be changed to:

  |style={{#if:{{{style|}}}|{{{style|}}}|{{{1|}}} }}

So if you work on a page that's using {{ItemTransformer}}, please copy that over as described and then put {{:{{PAGENAME}}/Tooltip|style=Infobox}} in its place. I'll look into the possibility of doing this automatically ASAP. oOeyes User-OOeyes-Sig.png 08:12, 8 July 2013 (UTC)

What would be a good example page of an item formatted totally right per this? As a side note, at least to me a lot of the Companions that use image= for the InfoBox style end up with an odd "colspan="2"|" showing up above their main image. Example ( ). Issue with the template, but using image1 is better anyway. I designed the infoboxes originally to be relatively short deliberately because a lot of users have an ad to the right of the infobox, and a long infobox causes a blank area underneath the ad. They weren't intended to display screenshots in the infobox themselves, and image1 through image9 puts the images beneath the ad and infobox to help keep infoboxes shorter.
I've set up Soiled Tunic as an example of one that uses things correctly, but for more complex items, you'll have to look at {{t|ItemTransformer}}'s[2] documentation. I suspect there will be more things that will need to be fixed or added which we'll find as we go along. If you don't feel up to it, feel free to let me know. Trying to set the Tricorn Captain's Hat to have a functional tooltip with the new system. I also decided to try cutting a lot of info out of the infobox. Most of it gets displayed in the tooltip anyway, and as I noted earlier, it's best layout-wise for the infobox to stay short. Quality color templates and Broken links[]

The quality color templates hide broken links. For instance [Misspelled Item] or [Non-Existent Item]. Would it be possible to change MediaWiki:Hydra.css to give broken links a red "border-bottom"? Or some other visual cue? -- 02:03, 19 August 2013 (UTC)

"|type#=" maxes at 5[]

With the addition of 2 more professions to the game, there are some items that are going to require more than 5 "types" or "categories" (e.g. Bag of Crystals). Presently, Infoboxes seem to stop listing beyond |type4=. Is it possible to grow that?

Items with a text based "Equip:" effect in tooltip for itemtransformer[]

Ring of Violet Luminescence has "Equip: Your ring glows faintly with a soft violet light." that appears before the two normal stat modifying Equip lines. More ItemTransformer Questions[]

Various questions:

  • 1) Is there an example of how to use the itemtransformer block for sets properly? All my attempts to mess with it result in a totally blank tooltip and no useful infobox, which I presume isn't the intention.
  • 2) As a related side note, on tooltips for equipment that has a set, would it be possible to have the listed set items be indented like in-game tooltips (I tried putting a : in front of them but it causes some extra unwanted line-feeding).
  • 3) As an unrelated sidenote, in listings of item stats in-game most tooltips have Power before most other stuff stats, but the itemtransformer tooltips put it a bit later. Not a big deal but it causes me to doubletake when comparing tooltips between wiki/game.
  • 4) For an item that comes with an enhancement slot pre-filled (for instance as seen in the picture on the right, the Delzoun Dagger starts with a Brilliant Energy Enchantment stuck in its Weapon Enhancement Slot), what do we do? The in game tooltip naturally shows the slot populated and has the "Weapon Enhancement Slot: Blah" dialogue pre-filled.
  • 5) If I wanted to detail a lone specialty enchantment outside of the enchantment page what would the format be? The template doesn't seem to have fields that would allow such things as specifying what sort of slot does what. As examples, in game Brilliant Energy Enchantment has a big freeform line showing what happens in a Weapon Enhancement slot, Founder's Glorious Enchantment has a set of stat mods (formatted freeform) next to a Defense Slot label, while Graycloak's Insignia has 3 lines of stat mods each separately specifying Offense Slot.

That was my concern when I saw this was being deployed without any discussion. Items are a complex and diverse set of data, one that's likely to have a number of edge cases that don't quite fit. Ultimately, the problem is that we're basically guessing as to how Cryptic formats the tooltips to begin with, and there always the danger of the assumptions being wrong.
I can fix most, and maybe all, of the above, but unfortunately it may have to wait at least a few days. Some high priority projects just moved into my queue. When I can get to it as well, I'll try to add something like a freeform parameter (or if anyone has a better name) that will allow you to specify the tooltip content exactly, overriding the automatic formatting. Meh, turns out I'm in limbo waiting for some setup to be finished before I can begin my priority projects, so I can get a start on this.
  • 1. If the tooltip template for ItemTransformer is any indication, support for sets didn't get finished. A few screenshot of set tooltips would be helpful as a reference for me to set them up.
  • 2. They should be indented now.
  • 3. Moved Power up before Critical Strike. Should it be before Maximum Hit Points and AC as well?
  • 4. I added slot1item and eslotitem parameters to take the name of the item inside the slots. Hopefully, using the gold color for that is correct in all cases; if not, let me know.

  • 1. Well sets don't have tooltips beyond what is on the items (to my knowledge) so how its formatted is really a "however it should be" sort of thing. I wouldn't have even messed with it if I didn't see it in the documentation there. I think the expectation might be that it could accept and display entered gear / slot / set info as if it was a piece of armor. Look at the Total Set Stats section of Elusive Agent and imagine if that was formatted item like and had proper boxes for the enhancement slots: That sort of thing.

"Offense Slot" is repeated three times on Graycloak to modify three stats, but they only use one "Defense Slot" to modify three stats at once on Founder's. New Races on "Main" pages[]

I added some initial pages for Moon Elf and Sun Elf (really basic in the case of Sun Elf since it didn't show up this morning, but I still felt it should be present since they are saying it being missing is a bug they are working on fixing). I also split out [[Drow] from Menzoberranzan Renegade since they are distinct racial choices now. And I set up trait pages for Wanderlust/Moon Elf Resilience for Moon Elves and Darkfire for Drow. Now the question is: How do these get added to "Playable race nav", "Racial Trait nav", and the front page? Or is that an admin only thing? Salvage and the itemTransformer / Info Box[]

I'm moving this discussion point to its own block since it was getting bulky:
There is a now the "Salvageable" type on tooltips (Media:SalvageableDemo.jpg).

  • 1. <No Longer an Issue: See update below> The tooltips of a salvageable item usually list Salvageable as its first type, but when I try to put that as type= so it is up front it freaks out determination of proper tooltip behavior (item stats vanish from the tooltip and such).
  • 2. There is the question of how to display how much will be salvaged somewhere (without putting it as freeform description on the main mage, or on the central Salvage page which could get huge if we did that.
  • 3. There are items +4 Elven Warrior's Scale Armor Redcap Sword Knot that have Salvageable in their in game tool tip but actually can't be salvaged since they aren't epic quality and it only works on rares.

So my thought is it would be good to have a "salvage=" in the itemTransformer options. If it is blank it would do nothing, if it has a value then it puts Salvageable in front of the actual types on the tooltip as if it was a type (essentially it would be type0) and whatever the value was would appear on a new section of the infobox (i.e. we could put "salvage=Not Salvageable" to cover item #3, "salvage=6,000 Rough Astral Diamond" for things we know the salvage value of, and "salvage=? Rough Astral Diamond" for things we know are salvageable but don't have the value yet.
Anyway, those are my thoughts. Also I think vendor npcs should be kept free from salvage info. Salvage Columns[]

For the time being I'm temped to remove (and did, temporarily) "Salvage Value" columns I encounter that have been added to tables for vendors and such. This is because:

  • 1. They usually end up being mostly blank.
  • 2. The ones I've seen so far have been applied to lists were the items themselves don't have pages yet.
  • 3. These tables don't have the coin resale value either so it is not consistent to do this.
  • 4. A vendor or set doesn't have a direct relation to salvage.
  • 5. If this becomes a "thing" consistency would it would need to be added to every list potentially Salvageable goods in the wiki (and per #3 a resale value column as well).
  • 6. This sort of value really belongs on the page for the item, or the Salvage page.

Naturally I'm bringing it here to see if discussion is merited. Incidentally, User:XXChris21Xx just added nice, concise salvage table for T1/T2 on the Salvage page. - Serpinecoh (talk) 04:09, 27 August 2013 (UTC)

After a bit of testing I've added |salvage= as an available option to ItemTransformer so we can conveniently show how much a particular item salvages for, for example |salvage=6,000 {{Rough Astral Diamond}} .
