Tell me about the Wanted Posters?

Wanted posters are bounties for monsters lurking somewhere in Barovia. Some monsters are tougher than others, so each poster is marked with 1-3 stars. Monsters with one star can be taken down by one or two hunters, those with two stars are best pursued by 2-4 huntes, while a monster with 3 stars should not be attempted by a party smaller than 4-5 hunters.
One star posters can be found on larger creatures around Barovia, and wanted posters for tougher monsters can only be found on other hunts.
Of course, the more stars on a poster, the higher the rewards will be.

How does Eva's reading guide the hunt?

Madam Eva uses the powers of divination to read her Tarokka cards to see where the monsters will appear.
But her vision will not tell you exactly where to go. Eva's readings provide clues that lead you to key locations around Barovia.
The more you learn about Strahd and Barovia, the easier the clues will be to decipher.

How can I use my Tarokka cards?

Once Eva has given you her reading, you can add up to three of your own cards to her table to increase the challenge and rewards.
There are 54 different Tarokka cards all with unique effects that can be combined.
When choosing cards to play, pay attention to the added challenge and the rewards
Adding cards can GREATLY increase the difficulty of your hunt, so use them wisely.
By the way... if you end up with cards you don't need, my brother Jesper can take them off your hands...

What are the rules?

To enter Eva's tent, you must have a Wanted Poster. You can only start a hunt if you are working on (or have completed) Ezmerelda's Direfang Hunt. In a party, only the Party Leader can give Eva a Poster or add challenge cards.
You may reassign your party leader but any challenge cards that you have placed will be cleared.
Wanted posters are removed from the Party Leader's inventory when they are chosen, while challenge cards are not removed from the leader's inventory until the hunt starts.

Am I ready for a hunt?

Between the Wanted Posters and the 54 challenge cards, the hunts will serve a wide variety of heroes. A level 70 12k hero should be able to take down a single star hunt with no challenge cards, while only 5 of Neverwinter's greatest heroes would hope to defeat a 3-star hunt with 3 high powered challenge cards.
Beware, be thoughtful and bring down your quarry.
